The best of Watches and Wonders 2026, selected by Luigi Verga
April, with the arrival of spring, also marks one of the most exciting times of the year for watch lovers: from April 14 to 20, 2026, Geneva hosted Watches and Wonders, the leading event in the world of fine watchmaking. This year’s edition reached a new milestone, with 66 exhibiting brands and nearly 60,000 visitors. Luigi Verga Orologi has carefully selected the most interesting new releases, which will soon be available in our boutique.
Frederique Constant
In an ongoing dialogue between tradition and innovation, Frederique Constant writes a new chapter in its history, presenting an evolution of its signature models, including the Classics Worldtimer and the Classics Manchette.
The Classic Worldtimer embodies the entrepreneurial spirit and boldness of the Geneva-based Manufacture. This timepiece is now powered by the new FC-719 automatic movement, which offers a 72-hour power reserve and ensures three full days of operation to keep pace with every journey with precision. Also new is the polished stainless steel case, whose diameter has been reduced to 40 mm, lending it greater elegance. The minimalist and contemporary “no-date” dial features an embossed globe that provides a clear view of the world’s 24 time zones. Several versions are available, including a precious limited edition of just 88 pieces, distinguished by a bezel set with 70 diamonds and a minimalist blue dial.
Manchette
Frederique Constant reinvents its glam-rock icon with the new Classics Manchette, where the vibrant sheen of a genuine turquoise dial meets the sunny elegance of yellow gold, or where the crystalline freshness of a mint green dial with a sunburst finish combines with the pure brilliance of polished steel. A bold jewel-watch, engraved with the Clou de Paris pattern to capture the light with every movement.

Wild One Skeleton X-Lite in edizione limitata
A concept watch limited to two hundred pieces, it features a new multi-material construction designed for extreme performance. Its complex case architecture, composed of over 30 components, incorporates a highly shock-absorbent X-Lite case ring and a high-performance combination of NORTEQ®, titanium, and aluminium. Weighing just 45 grams and paired with an ultra-lightweight double-layer rubber strap, it offers exceptional strength, comfort, and durability, while maintaining extraordinary lightness.
Adventure NEVEREST in edizione limitata
Inspired by the mountains, it combines functionality, durability, and versatility for everyday use, perfect for those who aim higher and higher, every day. Featuring an exclusive dial with a black-to-grey gradient and an orange or black rubber strap, it is produced in a limited run of 350 pieces, and 10% of the proceeds from the sale of NEVEREST watches are donated to the Butterfly Help Project in Nepal, to support the families of Sherpas who lost their lives in the Himalayan mountains, to provide their children with access to education.
